    Wrote weekly blog posts with strong news hooks. Pitched and wrote front-of-the-book content for print magazine, with focus on science, environment, public land policy, and social concerns of the Western U.S.

    Updated homepage and edited content for www.cabq.gov’s 14,000+ page website. Trained website contributors in Plone CMS, web best practices and City style guides.     Supervised a high school intern as we collected, preserved and identified native insects for the instructional entomology collection and undergraduate research scholarship. Banded and gathered data on song birds for national MAPS banding program.
